Giving at St Francis

We believe that God has given us so much and in response we seek to give to others. As an active and outward looking church we want to share God's love with the wider community through words and actions. To do this we rely heavily upon the generosity of many people's time and money. If you would like to offer some of your time and skills to help with any of the activities we are involved with please email admin.francisofassisi@gmail.com or phone 538487. If you would like to give financially towards to the work that we do you can collect a gift aid envelope from the entrance hall. If you would like to give regularly or review your giving please contact our treasurer Phill Jackson, who will let you know about the excellent Parish Giving Scheme and the other ways of regularly giving.

Growth Groups

Growth groups are an important part of the life of St Francis Church. They are places of care, support and encouragement. They are also places where we can get to know each other well and help one another to grow in faith. If you are not currently in a group head to the groups part of the website to find out more details./about-us/groups.aspx

Charities and Missions

During December and January our Charity isMission Aviation Fellowship.  For millions of people in some of the most remote regions of the world - areas cur of by forest, swamps, mountains and deserts - every day is a struggle to survive.  For over 70 years,MAFpilots have been flying medical professionals, food and life-changing supplies to inaccessible corners of the world, bringing help and hope to those in need in over 25 countries across the developing world. Remote locations and difficult terrain mean that every trip is potentially dangerous.  But all the pilots have faith in God, skill and experience and a desire to reach out and help the world's 'hidden poor'.  We plan to have araffleto raise money forMAF.  The prize will be a New Years Hamper. Ticketsat £1 eachare available from either Mary Pegler (537200) or Trish Leatherland (538717).
